2012: Get Shit Done.
Last year, I dared the universe to bring it. The universe brought it. I lost. This year, I’m relying on myself–my stubbornness, my strength, my stupidity–to do something great.

When I like something, I want people to know about it (read: force them to listen to my passionate proclamations of love and adoration), so I figured I’d stop stressing about trying to write something sweeping and epic and just stick with things I think are cool and worthy of sharing with friends, family, and hopefully some random readers on the net. Let’s start with my favorite new website, HelloGiggles.com!
One of the things I love about life is perspective and how your views shift as you get older. Who I was a few years ago is not who I am today. Who I am today is not who I’m going to be in five years. At my core, I’ll always be me—kind of dorky, a lot stubborn, and intensely curious—but as I get older, I’ll change. I have changed. I think it’s a beautiful thing.
In honor of the end of the year and nearly being a quarter of a century old, I’m going to try out the resolution thing. Let’s not call them resolutions, though, let’s just think of them as random hopes for 2011 that are subject to change.
